La Oficina de Enlace Argentina - UE en CyT, miembro del proyecto ERA CoBioTech invita a Ud. y a su institución a participar en la Serie de Seminarios en Línea "Biotecnología Europea y Sociedad" y a la Taberna científica COBio, actividades en las cuales se abordarán temáticas de:

* _investigación e innovación responsables;

_* la política de la ingeniería genética;

_* sostenibilidad ambiental, social y económica de las biotecnologías;

_* metodologías de interdisciplinariedad para la colaboración entre las ciencias sociales y naturales;

_* relaciones entre ciencia y ciudadanos;

_* actividades de política científica de los financiadores de la investigación;

_* lecciones prácticas sobre investigación e innovación responsables de investigadores en la interfaz de la ciencia, la tecnología y la sociedad.

On behalf of the RRI Seminar Series Organizing Team we are excited to invite you to join the European Biotechnology and Society Online Seminar Series.

Seminars will run weekly from 30 September to 4 November 2020 at 14:00 - 15:00 (CE(S)T).

FORMAT

Each seminar will bring two speakers into dialogue, offering their perspectives on new approaches, methods, and analyses that help us understand the place of biological science in the world today.

With speakers from within and beyond ERA CoBioTech, the sessions will address the following topics:

* responsible research & innovation; * the politics of genetic engineering; * environmental, social and economic sustainability of biotechnologies; * interdisciplinarity methodologies for collaboration across the social and natural sciences; * relationships between science and citizens; * science policy activities of research funders; * practical lessons about responsible research & innovation from researchers at the interface of science, technology and society.

And on the 21 October 2020 at 18:00 CEST, we will host the first ever _CoBioTavern_ - a virtual pub for informal discussion and networking among the participants and the speakers.
